eGramServe’s mission to is to create high-income jobs for youth in geographically disadvantaged regions of India.

‘Palayan’ or migration has become the bane of Uttarakhand and threatens to turn the beautiful hill regions in the state into ghost towns. Though the government had announced a special policy to promote industry in the remote and hilly districts of the state since 2008, there are not many on-ground private sector initiatives that can provide formal and regular employment for educated youth in the region. Employment opportunity being created by the private sector is concentrated in and around the plain areas of Dehradun, Haridwar, Roorkee, Rudrapur and Haldwani and excludes a large portion of this primarily hilly state. The youth in those districts, bereft of opportunities, are forced to migrate out of their hometowns and villages. To mitigate this problem, we are setting-up our first hub of BPO centers in Garhwal, Uttarakhand’s largest hilly district that is most affected by migration.

Our Centres in Garhwal

Narendranagar This town is the gateway to the Garhwal region, and the seat of the former king of Garhwal Raja Narendrashah.

Khadi (proposed) It’s a picturesque village near Chamba, one of Garhwal’s busiest cities. The Henval river flowing alongside makes it a perfect blend of serenity and trade.

Baroudi (proposed) Situated near the world famous Tehri dam, and the Garhwal university, it is an ideal catchment for college-grads looking for their first job placement.

Our HQ is in Gurgaon Gurgaon needs no introduction. It’s the birthplace of the Indian BPO industry that has fuelled its phenomenal growth from a poor cousin of Delhi to the most sought after office and residential location of the entire IT industry.
